Enjoy the view from the extensive windows facing to the south which overlook Duck Creek Meadow and the village itself. Walk around the 1600 ft deck that completely surrounds every floor. We regularly count upwards of 50 deer coming into the meadow at dusk and recently have been entertained by a family of foxes that hunts and plays in the meadow. You can almost always see a few Red Tail Hawks and Falcons cruising over the meadow, swooping down occasionally to pull a fish out of the Duck Creek. Watch for the extremely social marmots that sun themselves on the rocks below.

Why You Shoud Choose The Lodge!

Great location, very scenic. We had a great stay at this lodge. Beds were comfortable. Very cozy cabin.

5 star ratingModern, Tranquil Retreat For our Coral (Jade) Wedding Anniversary we chose the lodge at Marlfield House mainly influenced by a reduced rate due ti a few wedding at the main house so jo access permitted (apart from paying the final bill of course). The lodge is modern, spacious with an open plan dining, kitchen and lounge with dual aspects for light and fully stocked wine, mini bar, tea, sugar. milk etc. Satellite TV & Netflix. Bedroom is very comfy and an excellent ensuite with deep bath and adjacent waterfall shower. Private parking and a front garden with outdoor table and chairs for smokers if needed.
We found it excellent due to its privacy and seclusion and it was a short stroll to the Duck Restaurant or the Main House. Perhaps we were fooled into expecting some surprise gift or gesture when we were asked if it was a special occasion when booking but apart from that an excellent place to stay.

Such a cute lodge! We stayed in Lodge #1, Fisherman's Landing. The kitchen is pretty well stocked, but if there are specific spices you like, you should bring them. There are plenty of toilets for everyone! The master bedroom has a walk-in shower, which was really nice and big. Mr. Jim, the on-site manager was extremely helpful. Each "apartment" has their own grill. Make sure you bring food from home, or stop in Cedar City on the way up the hill. There is a gas station and an awesome Ace Hardware that has necessities, but it's more expensive than if you would bring food up. The village is so cute. We'll be back!

5 star ratingWe have stayed here for a week for the last two years and love the quiet town. It's a central location to snowboarding in Brian Head and hiking in Zion and Bryce Canyon. Place is nice and clean and has plenty of room for our four kids. We will continue to vacation here for many more years.
